Seeing a drama showing surgery procedures is definitely not for one’s eyes. A time traveling drama to the Joseon Dynasty. Medical and history, all in one.

Akira is one of the first animated films and is considered a classic. Honestly, I did not appreciate it much because of its dark and futuristic setting. At first, it seemed like it was difficult to relate to, but when we look closely to it, the movie is reflected in the society that we have nowadays. Akira is a movie that revolves around the themes of societal order, power and anarchy. I like the fact that this film is an animated one because it can portray what is beyond reality or portray things that may be limited in live action films.

May look like your ordinary present time plot wherein the guy falls head over heels with the girl, only dressed in traditional clothes.

The title simply speaks for itself; Dream High! This is kind of true to life for those aspiring stars and trainees. The lesson of the drama is that dreams can come true if you do your best. I like it because it is simple and many people can relate to it. Actually, everyone can relate to it. We all have dreams right? 😉

I finally finished my Endless Love marathon in a month. I can’t say that it was a waste of time to watch these 4 dramas. I’m interested on how the Korean drama wave started anyways. Endless Love may have those typical plot and storyline but it remains a classic.

Brilliant plot, meaningful dialogues paired with a visual and talented cast, Autumn in My Heart is one of my favourite seasonal dramas. Simply memorable and touching.

The setting was so romantic, but the plot was too mellow for my liking. Still one of the classic melodramas that’s worth remembering.

The director of the hit seasonal series, Endless Love made a brave move by choosing relatively new actors to play major roles in this last installment, Spring Waltz. Not completely satisfied with the cast, but the plot has improved which is why it became worth watching.
